Hello world!
Welcome to WordPress. This is your first post....
We are dedicated to advancing the fields of cancer biology and epigenetics through innovative research and collaboration.
…with a particular emphasis on epigenetic regulation.
Dr. Jianping Li’s laboratory is in the Department of Pharmacology, Physiology, and Cancer Biology at the NCI-designated Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center (SKCCC) at Thomas Jefferson University (TJU) in Philadelphia. Our lab focuses on translational research in the role of chromatin regulators and immune interaction in blood cancers, especially in the initiation, relapse, and chemotherapy resistance of acute lymphoblastic leukemia and lymphoma. We study aberrant chromatin regulators-driven phenotype and molecular mechanisms using conditional mouse models, patient-derived xenografts (PDXs), and cutting-edge technologies such as CUT&RUN, ChIP-Seq, single-cell RNA-Seq, ATAC-Seq, proteomics, drug screening, flow cytometry and sorting, and CRISPR editing and screening. Based upon the mechanisms, we develop new reversible and targetable treatments to help patients suffering from blood cancers.
We seek highly motivated and enthusiastic students, postdoctoral fellows, and research technicians to join our growing team. We expect you to work with us to explore life science, enjoy research, and get excellent training and career development here.
At the Jianping Li Lab, we are driven by a shared commitment to advancing cancer biology and epigenetics research.
